Meet The Executive Team
The Squad
We're a committed group of young adults dedicated to simplifying history for all. Each team member plays a specialized role in Itihaus's success.

Mehek Saini, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mehek Saini is a junior from Dallas, Texas who fell in love with history and the ideologies that constructed our world. She wrote her first "pretend" book in kindergarten, and has been enthralled with creative writing ever since. She has taken APHUG, APWH and APUSH. Through various experiences meeting a diverse range of people, Mehek grew increasingly appalled by the discrepancies in history teaching throughout underprivileged communities. Drawing from her own passion for the field, she founded Itihaus to expand a love for history and make it an area of confidence for students globally. Outside of Itihaus, Mehek finds great interest in international law and foreign relations, especially when concentrated in the Middle East or the Balkans. She also has a passion for expanding gynecological access and policy that makes motherhood a right for all women. When she's not writing or being journalistic, you can find Mehek drawing portraits, making coffee, or attempting to learn a new language.
